Angies List review in Napa, California: No way to cancel bid request for job or mark email as spam
once you sign up they start sending offers via email with no way to unsubscribe. The landing page for offers has no way to cancel the job or stop requests. After 15 minutes trying to find a way to cancel the job including my account page i gave up and sent a request to support. they trap you into getting offers from companies there are too far away or not a good fit. stay away.!

Angies List review in Santa Clarita, California: Vic's restoration
Angies List shows Vic's restoration as a Reputable Co. He is not. Has know to rip off 6 home owners. Angies list shows Vic's licenses as unknown? Any company with out a licenses no. is not reputable. Vic's Restoration is a common thief. Angies List should check out Construction co. before putting them on her list. I check Vic's restoration Co. with the Contractor State Licenses Board and they do not recommend his services. His is banded from doing business in the County of L.A. What is the problem? Why list him? He is dangerous and a calculating rip off artist.

Angies List review in Oakland, California: Angie's List using Robo calling
I have been getting 7 to 8 calls a day from different numbers on both my home phone and cell. When I answer I am asked if I am going to some home improvements or repair work. Then the caller tells me, "they are from Angie's List" When I tell them I am on a Do not call list, they hang up and call me from another number. If I try to say any thing negative, they hang up. Because of this tactic, I would never use anyone associated with Angie's List. I encourage other to do the same. If more people would do the same and not use the services of robo-callers. I expect it would slow down proliferation of robo-callers.

Congratulations you just got estimates from 3 shady contractors. Who have no time in business. News flash you can tell how long a contractor has been in business by their license #. Dont be an angies list horror story. Hire a real contractor.
