Angies List review in Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Angie's List would not right their wrong
Angie's list representatives acknowledged that they charged my account without my consent, however, since my bank account was already overdrawn by another issue that was not my fault, Angie's list refused to give me back my money that they acknowledged was withdrawn without my consent. Even after this acknowledgement, and my contacting them, they again withdrew money, however my bank, caught this (because of my request to monitor activity), they did refund this money. The above actions were taken, after I had already told a representative by phone when she contacted me to subscribe for another year that I WAS NOT interested in subscribing for another year. Even after me verbally telling the representative that I WAS NOT INTERESTED in another year's subscribtion (and the conversation being taped by Angie's List) they attempted to gain monies without my permission.

I went to Angies list to find a carpet dealer to buy and install carpet. They were very nice, however, made a mistake on the day they were supposed to come and I had to change it for another day. They then measured my carpet for a cost. As it turned out they measure very incorrectly by 300 yards. I had a friend measure and then called in another company who measured the same as my friend. It saved me over $500.00 dollars and I learned my lesson. I also had a friend who is a contractor and he pays every month to advertise on Angies list. The only one that is making money is Angie!!!!!

They will withdraw money from your account again next year. Change your bank account. Angie's List = dishonest company
